September 10th, 2010 litter

We have 8 Males and 4 Females in this great litter.

"Abby" CH MidwestDreamBeautyBornBirdyAbby

"Topper" Ch. Silhouette's Solid Gold CD RA JH NSD NRD V TDI

All puppies have gone home in this litter.

11-28-2010 Just one male available we are working on crate training, house braking, and sit.

11-23-2010 Ron took the puppies out for a little run and to use the new camera so here are a few new shots of the puppies.

11-20-2010 Just some random shots with my boys out side and in.

11-16-2010 Working with a pheasant wing we got a couple of points and alot of fun shots.

11-15-2010 Sorry no new pics today. The three boys we have are doing great leaving the pen and going outside. Then when we call them in they all go straight into the pen again. They have all grown and are turning into some great puppies. All contacts with puppies that have gone home have been good. Remember to keep in touch with me, send pictures and ask all questions. I will take some indoor and outdoor pictures on Tuesday.

11-14-2010 Thick Black collar is now Amigo and he went home today.

11-11-2010 Happy Veteran's day and thank you to all who have served. I just changed thin black collar color to red as it is just to hard to tell in the pictures and I need to be able to tell. Sorry it took so long to do so for everyone looking. Blue collar male has brought two dead sparrow's into the house to us today. I am sure they are barn cat offerings left behind, but of the four boys he has brought them both inside to us.

4 Males are available- Collar colors, thick black collar, thin black collar, dark blue collar & multi color collar.

11-8-2010 Working out kinks with new camera to post great new shots of the puppies we have available hope to get new pics posted by Wednesday afternoon. As I posted above we have just 4 males remaining.

11-7-2010 Light Green female went home today she was the last of the females here. Julie had two puppies and Drew at the Wisconsin Dog Expo and had lots of people looking at them. Next weekend she is taking Drew to her next hunt test!

11-3-2010 We had a visit from Gus one of our almost 4 month old Vizsla's and he was overwhelmed at first by all the puppies then they got into a great game of chase. Little green collar girl has taken a back seat to her brothers and is under the pile most of these shots. Top right she is in the back and we have a nice sitting shot of her. I am going to change her collar color to see her better.

10-30-2010 Red collar male and Solid Pink Female went to new homes today. The puppies are getting to "trot" outside for short potty breaks and to really stretch those growing legs as long as the weather holds. They shiver a little when they go out but pack back up on top of each other for a nap afterwards.

It is a hard job to pick which puppy to take home. Blackie the indoor/outdoor cat has to get his fair amount of attention in the process.

10-29-2010 Now in new homes with families of their own are Pink Spotted collar Female, Oskar who was Light Blue Collar Male, and Mikko who was Dark Green Male. More to go home on Saturday.

10-27-2010 Sorry for the long break in postings. I had a total left knee replacement on the 19th and so I have been unable to get to this computer for updates. The puppies have changed allot, maybe not in looks here but size and personalities are all very easy to see when they are awake and running in the pen. Every time they hear someone in the room they all run to the edge and try to be "the one" who gets to be held first. It is a riot to try to pick up piles without the pack getting your pants leg or them running thru it on the way to get to you. Today is the puppies healthy vet check so then they will all be ready to go to the new homes.

10-17-2010

10-15-2010 Growing and running very fast in the pen. I wish I had a whole room they could be loose all the time in since it is to cold outside to play except for a short potty run. They eat allot more now and then make piles that I am in charge of now since Abby said so...........:)

10-13-2010

10-12-2010 Too many pictures! Ya I know it isn't for you all that want to see the puppies but for the cropping, fixing the red eyes and then fitting them on the web page............it is allot of time! Time I need to be picking up puppy poop as Abby is all but finished with the clean up duties... :( Well here they are.......enjoy!

10-10-2010 Some new collars as the baby ones are too small on the fast growing puppies. Dark Green was originally orange then light green with an orange ribbon. Thick black collar was originally white male. We put the puppies into a small crate to clean the puppy pen and they are beginning to get crowded. They are trying to find a way out even if they have to chew on it to.

It was also nail trimming time and Ron helped me this time.

As you can see the water makes a real mess on the papers with little paws everywhere.

First pick male puppy family came today to get to see the puppies and play a bit. They were able to pick the top four they liked. It is a very hard task to pick one out of eight male puppies. The puppies were just a little fun but then slept!

First day to go outside, just for a potty break and a little rough play then back inside for another nap.

More family came by to see the puppies and play.

10-1-2010 These are late to be posted and I hope to get new ones today (10-8-2010)

9-27-2010 Puppies are now moving away from the "bed" area to potty on their own. The puppies are starting to explore and eat puppy food on their own, this will help poor Abby out on her diet as she has been eating up to 12 cups of puppy food a day and so she needs to go out quite often. The paper is still a little slippery for the wobbly puppies but they are really fast to get where they want now.

9-27-2010 Bigger bunch of puppies they don't all fit into the line up on Abby anymore. All eyes are open and they are trying to walk instead of scooting.

9-24-2010 Puppies eyes are now open and they had to get real collars today instead of ribbons, so some of the colors have changed. They are changed here in the left column with the original ones still there. Up and moving around now allot.

9-21-2010 Had to put bigger collars on most all the puppies. Trimmed the toe nails again. Some eyes are just starting to peak a little but will be open all the way soon. They are doing more of a walking crawl now instead of scooting across to get to Abby.

9-19-2010 Still growing no eyes open yet but soon.

9-15-2010 Getting fatter and growing!

In the last pic someone was getting too close to her puppies (another four legged!)

9-14-2010 It is a heavy heart this morning when I went to clean the puppy pen that I found the first born light blue collar male dead...........she has lost one in each litter this way and we had hoped by moving them to the larger area that we would save them all. Here are pictures of the 12 remaining puppies. As you can see with the supplement in her water we are giving her all the puppies have nice round tummies and they are all happy.

9-13-2010 To avoid all the crowded conditions the puppies were moved to the play pen instead of staying in the whelping box.

9-10-2010 After all the labor now we settle down to eating 24/7

9-10-2010 Final log for today, went to the vet for an x-ray after 11 puppies and she had one there and one on the way home. We got a bakers dozen in this litter 9 males and 4 females.

9-10-2010 We are up to 7 males and 1 female so far.

9-10-2010 Three males one female so far, many more to come.

9-10-2010 First puppy born 5:25am male, second 6:24am male third one just came no more updates for a while

9-8-2010 The 24 hour watch has began and no sleep until we are finished............

9-6-2010 Update all weekend we have been showing other dogs at the Amana, Ia show and running home to check on Abby (also had friends, neighbors & family checking during the day) she is still hanging in there but by the pictures you will see it is no way pleasant for her!

It is really hard to see just how large she is from these pictures. She is just huge and yet her backbone and ribs are showing.......keeping the food regular until the puppies are born so they don't get too big for her. As of today we are in the 48 hours until she is under puppy watch. Her 1st 58 days is Tuesday, her 1st 63rd day is September 5th, her last 63rd day is September 12th so we are now within 14 days of puppies.
