All puppies in this litter placed. Di's daughter Drew is due around Christmas 2013

This litter comes with a story about the birth. Dogs have many "due" dates when bred the natural way so with that in mind I didn't cancell our trip for the Northstar Ratings and Hunt test in Baldwin, Wisconsin. We took our camper with several dogs in it. On our way up we had a flat tire on the camper and it delayed our trip a few hours.
While we were stopped Di had several bouts of panting but as soon as we were with her she would stop so I just wrote it off as stressing out. They all like me to be glued to them when they are in labor.
We were finally on our way and Di was back in the back seat of the truck on her back snoring! Then we stopped for gas and Ron said she had made some funny grunt sounds and had the "banana" tail a few times. So I rode with her in the back seat with supplies in case. At 10:00 pm she had the first puppy a girl in the back seat of the truck with very little pushing.
We were close to Rochester, Mn so we found a Wal-Mart parking lot and parked, set up the camper with the generator and while Ron took care of the other dogs I helped Di have puppies where our table had been.
Five females and four males were all born by 4:15am. Di had a great delivery and as usual was a great mom. After a couple hours we packed up and finished our trip to the Northstar event.
Later that day Di laid on one of the female puppies and it was unable to get out from under her and died.
So our female that we keep with have a handle close to "Midwest Dream Born to Shop with Wally"
